Platinum is unforgiving. It highlights every flaw brassiness, density imbalance, bulky seams. That’s exactly why Butterfly Wefts #60 platinum blonde has become a go to choice for stylists and extension buyers who demand precision. This shade is engineered for true platinum wearers: clean, light reflective, and neutral enough to blend seamlessly with professionally lifted hair.
Shade #60 sits at the very top of the blonde spectrum. It’s a pale, icy platinum with minimal warmth and no muddy undertones. When installed correctly, it disappears into naturally platinum or tonally balanced bleached hair.
Butterfly wefts are designed to reduce bulk at the root while maintaining durability through the weft line. In platinum shades, this matters more than most buyers realize lighter colors magnify density mistakes instantly.
Platinum wearers are detail driven. They see tonal shifts in different lighting and expect consistency from root to mid lengths. This shade holds its clarity when properly cared for, even between toning sessions.
From an install standpoint, #60 platinum blonde performs predictably. It tones evenly, responds well to professional glossing, and doesn’t fight against controlled pigment deposits when refreshing color.
This is why it’s frequently chosen for:
Handled correctly, platinum doesn’t have to mean high stress or short lifespan.
The difference isn’t marketing its engineering. Cleaner pigment. Smarter weft design. Predictable results. In platinum, details compound fast. Butterfly wefts are built to keep those details under control.
Whether you’re maintaining a signature blonde client, building a premium extension offering, or investing in your own flawless finish, this shade delivers consistency where it matters most.

For K tips, I tips and Nano- 25 grams per pack. 1 gram per strand
For Genius , Butterfly and Machine Wefts- 16"-22" is 50 gram weft
24" and longer- 60 gram weft
Tape and Invisible tape- 50 grams per pack. 20 pcs which is 10 sandwiches
Wide tape wefts- 50 grams per wide weft
Hand Tied Wefts- 16”- 22” 134 grams per bundle. 24” and longer - 160 grams per bundle
For lengths 16-18" extensions you'll need 50 -75 Grams of hair if your only looking for fuller hair or adding highlights or lowlights. If you're looking to add length, 100-150 Grams should be good for a full head depending on how thick your hair is. If you have thin, fine hair, 100 grams should suffice.
20"-22". Again 50-75 Grams should be good to thicken hair or add that pop of color for hair that is already this length. 120-180 Grams is usually good for this length for a full head, depending on the length and thickness of your own hair.
24-26". If you're buying hair this long, chances are you are buying for length. Usually 160 - 240 Grams of hair is good for this length. for a full head.
Hair 28" and longer should be 200-300 Grams of Hair. Anything less will be hard to blend and you want to make sure you have thickness through the ends of your hair. No one likes thin, straggly ends.
