When clients ask for a blonde that feels natural not flat, not brassy Butterfly Wefts #18 dark blonde consistently delivers. This shade sits right in the sweet spot: light enough to brighten, deep enough to look believable at the root, and versatile across seasons and skin tones. For stylists, its a dependable go-to. For wearers, its the kind of blonde that disappears into your own hair and elevates it quietly.
#18 dark blonde is a neutral leaning blonde with soft warmth never yellow, never dull. In butterfly wefts, that color pairing gains depth thanks to feather light construction and a flexible track that lies flat against the scalp. The result is movement, comfort, and a finish that reads “natural hair,” not “extensions.”
Dark blonde can drift warm or cool depending on lighting. A balanced #18 avoids harsh contrast at the roots and blends beautifully with natural grow out, making it especially forgiving between appointments.
Butterfly wefts are known for weight distribution. In #18 dark blonde, that means added fullness without compression lines or bulk ideal for clients who want body but hate feeling weighed down.
This shade meshes well with face framing highlights and lived-in blondes. It softens transitions, fills sparse areas, and keeps the overall look cohesive.
Use #18 as a foundation shade. Layer lighter blondes selectively for brightness or pair with lower density rows to build shape without overloading the head.
Butterfly wefts reward proper care. For #18 dark blonde, a few habits make all the difference:
A: Yes, its neutral balance adapts well, compared to blondes that lean strongly yellow or ash.
A: Exceptionally well. That’s one of the primary reasons stylists favor this shade.
A: Absolutely. It works as a base shade and layers naturally with lighter pieces for dimension.
A: With proper care, tone refreshes are less frequent than very light blondes another client-friendly advantage.
For K tips, I tips and Nano- 25 grams per pack. 1 gram per strand
For Genius , Butterfly and Machine Wefts- 16"-22" is 50 gram weft
24" and longer- 60 gram weft
Tape and Invisible tape- 50 grams per pack. 20 pcs which is 10 sandwiches
Wide tape wefts- 50 grams per wide weft
Hand Tied Wefts- 16”- 22” 134 grams per bundle. 24” and longer - 160 grams per bundle
For lengths 16-18" extensions you'll need 50 -75 Grams of hair if your only looking for fuller hair or adding highlights or lowlights. If you're looking to add length, 100-150 Grams should be good for a full head depending on how thick your hair is. If you have thin, fine hair, 100 grams should suffice.
20"-22". Again 50-75 Grams should be good to thicken hair or add that pop of color for hair that is already this length. 120-180 Grams is usually good for this length for a full head, depending on the length and thickness of your own hair.
24-26". If you're buying hair this long, chances are you are buying for length. Usually 160 - 240 Grams of hair is good for this length. for a full head.
Hair 28" and longer should be 200-300 Grams of Hair. Anything less will be hard to blend and you want to make sure you have thickness through the ends of your hair. No one likes thin, straggly ends.

Curly hair needs a little longer length hair to account for the curl.
