Butterfly Wefts #8 light brown are designed for clients who want believable color, lightweight volume, and an ultra flat finish. This shade sits beautifully in the neutral light brown range never brassy, never dull making it one of the most versatile options for everyday wear, professional settings, and polished transformations.
Whether you’re a stylist sourcing premium extensions or a discerning buyer upgrading your look, this shade delivers consistent results without looking artificial or overdone.
Light brown is one of the most requested tones in extension work, but not all versions are created equal. #8 is prized for its balance: soft warmth with neutral undertones that adapt easily to different base colors.
Professionals often choose this shade because it:
Butterfly weft enhances these benefits by distributing hair evenly, reducing bulk while maintaining fullness from root to tip.
Butterfly wefts are engineered to lie close to the scalp. This makes them ideal for clients who want volume without the “thick track” feel common with traditional wefts.
Despite their airy structure, these wefts hold density where it matters through the mid-lengths and ends giving hair movement instead of stiffness.
From long salon days to daily styling, this weft type moves naturally, styles easily, and maintains its integrity when installed correctly.
If your client’s hair sits between dark blonde and medium brown, this shade integrates smoothly without the need for excessive toning.
#8 light brown is often a smart choice for adding softness around the face or dimension through the lengths without dramatically changing overall color.
The butterfly weft structure works especially well for finer hair types that can’t support heavy extension tracks.
As with any premium extension, longevity depends on proper care and realistic expectations.
Styling tips stylists swear by:
No two heads of hair are identical. #8 light brown performs best when matched under natural light. Many professionals use it as a base shade and layer brighter or darker tones for a custom finish.
Butterfly Wefts #8 light brown are popular not because they’re trendy, but because they’re reliable. The shade wears well, fades gracefully, and remains relevant across season’s key traits for both salon inventory and personal investment pieces.
A: It can work for darker blondes, especially when used for lowlights or dimensional blending rather than full coverage.

For K tips, I tips and Nano- 25 grams per pack. 1 gram per strand
For Genius , Butterfly and Machine Wefts- 16"-22" is 50 gram weft
24" and longer- 60 gram weft
Tape and Invisible tape- 50 grams per pack. 20 pcs which is 10 sandwiches
Wide tape wefts- 50 grams per wide weft
Hand Tied Wefts- 16”- 22” 134 grams per bundle. 24” and longer - 160 grams per bundle
For lengths 16-18" extensions you'll need 50 -75 Grams of hair if your only looking for fuller hair or adding highlights or lowlights. If you're looking to add length, 100-150 Grams should be good for a full head depending on how thick your hair is. If you have thin, fine hair, 100 grams should suffice.
20"-22". Again 50-75 Grams should be good to thicken hair or add that pop of color for hair that is already this length. 120-180 Grams is usually good for this length for a full head, depending on the length and thickness of your own hair.
24-26". If you're buying hair this long, chances are you are buying for length. Usually 160 - 240 Grams of hair is good for this length. for a full head.
Hair 28" and longer should be 200-300 Grams of Hair. Anything less will be hard to blend and you want to make sure you have thickness through the ends of your hair. No one likes thin, straggly ends.
